Growing our team to serve you better!
Well, we did it! Another trip around the sun. Another year of growing, expanding, and adjusting to a world with Covid. As we went into 2021, we all knew that we could handle whatever the year had to throw at us. If nothing else, 2020 had taught us all to adapt and evolve as a company to maneuver through just about anything.
Plascon started 2021 with much of our office staff still working from home, and stayed that way for the first half of the year. In early June we began cycling staff back into the office and we were all happy to be getting the normalcy of having the team back together again. And honestly getting us back under one roof was possibly the least ambitious thing our company achieved last year. 2021 also saw several new positions created and filled with amazing new people to join our already robust team. 2022 promises to bring in even more new faces as we fine tune our staffing to best serve our customers.
2021 saw our Saftea® Liner production rise to new levels, as the popularity of this innovative liner continues to grow. We also took on the project of rearranging our production area to expand our clean room efforts. We tested potential new materials, products, and methods of production to best serve you, our valued customers. September saw us once again achieving 'AA' BRC Certification making our streak now 5 years running!
2021 was not a return to normal, but it did show us that when we put our minds to something, Plascon is a force to be reckoned with. Not only will we persevere, we will thrive and will do so together. As we look to what 2022 holds in store, we would like to thank you, our customers, suppliers, and the businesses that believe in our product and our team. Thank you for allowing us into your organizations and into your lives. Thank you for growing with us. We look forward to many more years of being your go-to packaging source for everything from box liners to sous vide, cook chill bags to tea urn liners.
